San Antonio Area Freeway System
Double-Decked Freeway Maps

This page last updated January 5, 2018

Double-decked freeways map Below are maps of the various exits and interchanges along the downtown double-decked freeway system. The maps were produced and published by the San Antonio Light newspaper around the time the project was completed in the early '90s.

Click here to return to the double-decked freeway picture galleries page.

Overview map of the project area
The green squares indicate where detail maps are available below.  You can click on them to go straight to that map.

(Note: On the outbound lower-level exit to Woodlawn, there is no access to the
side street south of Woodlawn as shown.)

(Notes: There is an exit from the outbound lower-level to Colorado St. that is not shown.
The entrance ramp from Colorado St. to the outbound lower level is located west of Brazos.
The inbound exit ramp to Colorado St. from the lower level is also located further west than is shown.)

(Note: The configuration of the NB I-35 lanes between St. Mary's and I-37 has changed since
this map was made.  Traffic from the lower-level can no longer exit to I-37/US 281.)
