Other San Antonio Area Roads
West Bexar Road Expansion Projects

This page last updated May 20, 2023

The far west side of Bexar County-- the area roughly between Bandera Rd. and US 90 outside of Loop 1604-- is the fastest growing area in the county. As a result, there are several major road expansion projects underway or in the works. This page consolidates information that I know or can find about the various known projects from TxDOT, Bexar County, the City of San Antonio (COSA), the Alamo Regional Mobility Authority (ARMA), and developers. Because the different agencies provide updates at different intervals (or not at all), information for all projects may not necessarily be current.
